Data we process and purpose
Through the contact form we process the name, email address, telephone number and description of the matter that you provide, for the sole purpose of dealing with your enquiry and, where appropriate, arranging a first meeting. If you become a client, subsequent processing will be governed by the engagement letter and by the rules of the legal profession, including professional secrecy.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and on the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
Retention
We keep the enquiry data for as long as necessary to deal with it and, at most, for one year from the last contact, unless a professional engagement is formalised, in which case the data will be kept for the duration of the relationship and the statutory limitation periods.
Recipients
We do not disclose your data to third parties, except where required by law. The website hosting provider, Hostinger International Ltd. (Larnaca, Cyprus), acts as data processor under its data processing agreement, with servers in the European Union. That provider may use sub-processors established outside the European Economic Area; in that case transfers are covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Decision (EU) 2021/914).
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@santanalorenzo.com or to the postal address above, enclosing a copy of an identity document. If you consider that the processing does not comply with the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Confidentiality
Information you send us through the form is treated with the confidentiality inherent in lawyers’ professional secrecy, even if no engagement is ultimately formalised.
